Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders made for the Designott Lite Website Service (“Lite Website”) provided by Designott (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order and making payment, the client (“you”, “client”) agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

1) Service Overview

Designott Lite is a simplified website service designed for small businesses who want to go online quickly and professionally with a clean, minimal structure. The Lite Website is a one-page website built by Designott and delivered to the client based on the agreed content and service scope.

2) What’s Included in the Lite Website

The Lite Website includes:

One-page website (Lite version)
About section (short business overview)
Contact section including:
- Phone number / WhatsApp button
- Email address
- Location details (if provided)
Up to 5 services (titles + short description)
Mobile responsive design (works on phone/tablet/desktop)
Basic setup and publishing
Hosting included for 1 year
Domain included (reserved after payment)

3) What’s Not Included

Unless separately agreed and paid, the Lite Website does not include:

Additional pages (Portfolio, About page, Services full page, etc.)
E-commerce / online store functionality
Booking systems
Advanced SEO services
Content writing / long copywriting (unless provided by client)
Professional photography
Advanced animations or custom-coded features

Any request outside the Lite scope will be priced as an upgrade.

4) Order Requirements (Client Responsibilities)

To start delivery, the Client must provide:

Business/brand name
Service names and basic information (up to 5 services)
About/business description (or bullet points)
Contact details (phone/WhatsApp/email/location)
Logo (if available)
Brand identity / brand guidelines (colors, fonts, style direction) if available
Any preferred style references (optional)

Delivery time starts only after:

5) Domain & Hosting Terms

5.1 Domain Reservation

Once payment is made, Designott will reserve/register the agreed domain name.

5.2 Hosting Included (1 Year)

The Lite Website includes 1 year hosting starting from the launch date.

5.3 Renewal & Expiry

Domains and hosting must be renewed yearly to keep the website online.

If the Client does not renew after the hosting period ends:

the website may go offline
Designott is not responsible for downtime due to non-renewal

6) Delivery Timeline

Designott will deliver the Lite Website within:

48 hours after payment confirmation + content receipt + domain finalization.

Delays caused by missing/late content or delayed domain approval will automatically extend the delivery timeline.

7) Revisions & Edits Policy

To ensure quality and fast delivery:

Included:

Revisions include minor reasonable changes such as:
text adjustments
replacing images
service text edits
contact details updates

Not included as revisions:

changing the full design direction after approval
adding new sections/pages
major redesigns

Extra edits beyond the included limits are billed separately.

8) Payments

Standard Payment

By default, 100% payment is required before starting the project.

Optional Partial Payment (Case-by-Case)

In some cases, Designott may accept 50% upfront based on client approval. This is optional and not guaranteed.

If partial payment is approved:

The remaining 50% must be paid before final delivery and launch.
If the final payment is not received on time, Designott has the right to pause the project, withhold final delivery, and/or temporarily disable or close the website until full payment is completed.
Any website suspension due to unpaid balance will remain until the full remaining amount is received.

9) Client Data Protection & Confidentiality

Designott is committed to protecting all data provided by the Client, including (but not limited to):

Business and brand details
Contact information
Logos, files, images, and documents
Website content shared for development

Designott confirms that:

All client data is treated as confidential.
Client data will not be sold, shared, or published to any third party without the Client’s permission.
Client data may only be used for completing the requested service (website creation, domain reservation, hosting setup, technical support).
Designott applies reasonable and professional security practices to protect client files and information.

Any misuse, leakage, or unauthorized access to Client data is subject to legal accountability under applicable laws and regulations.

10) Refund & Cancellation

Refund and cancellation terms are governed by the official Refund & Cancellation Policy published by Designott Lite.

Key Points:

Refund requests are allowed within 12 hours from payment time
Refunds are partial only
500 EGP is deducted for hosting and domain reservation
After 12 hours: no cancellation / no refund

11) Ownership & Usage Rights

11.1 Client Ownership

After full payment, the Client owns:

the website content they provided (text/logo/images)
the final Lite Website as delivered

11.2 Powered by Designott

Designott may include a small credit such as: “Powered by Designott.”

11.3 Portfolio Rights

Designott retains the right to showcase the website in:

portfolio
social media
case studies and marketing materials

12) Support & Communication

Official Support Channels

Working Hours

Sunday to Thursday
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requests outside working hours will be answered on the next working day.

13) Client Content & Legal Responsibility

The Client confirms that all provided content is legally owned or permitted for use. Designott is not responsible for copyright issues caused by Client-provided materials

14) Limitations of Liability

Designott is not responsible for:

delays caused by late Client responses or missing content
third-party issues (hosting provider downtime, registrar delays)
unauthorized modifications by the Client or third parties

15) Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order and making payment, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
